Memorizing the Properties

Today we thought of tricks to help us memorize the properties.

For commutative we thought of the word "commute"  - going to work and back from work is the same scenery, so 5+3 is the same as 3+5.

For Associative, we thought of "regrouping". So (2+3) +4 is the same as 2+ (3+4).

For Distributive, we thought of distribute or redistribute, so 5 (3+4) means that you have to "distribute" the "5" to the 3 and the 4. So, it would be 5 (3) + 5(4).
